DRINKING WATER PLANT

Access to drinking water is therefore essential for the future and survival of certain populations. The possibility of desalinating seawater and making it potable is a resource with enormous potential. Seawater accounts for the majority of the world’s water and could help solve the drinking water shortage problem affecting many countries. Thanks to our developments and a combination of processes and technologies, including our sea wave system, our concept will make it possible to desalinate seawater and produce drinking water in many parts of the world, at a lower cost of around 0.36 euro per cubic meter. What’s more, our hybrid freshwater desalination concept is based on economical, stable, reusable and environmentally-friendly materials, and takes the environment into account by reusing excess salt to produce our seawater batteries. Our developments in certain regions could be a game-changer not only in terms of access to public drinking water, but also in many developing sectors such as agricultural expansion.
